Too many Christians when they speak about Jesus to someone, lead people to focus on the sins they have committed. Those people know exactly what they have done, so no need to remind it to them.
When a person comes to Jesus the right way, it is because he has understood how God loves him that he will do so : By understanding what is his value, by looking at the price God paid giving Himself in the person of His Son.
It is certainly not with some: " If you don’t repent you'll go to hell " that we make disciples of Christ.
It is once they are saved that the Holy Spirit is taking care of educating them and showing them the things that are to change in their lives.
